Happy New Year from The Biglieri Group

As we look ahead to all that 2024 will bring, it is good time to reflect on the many BIG things that happened at The Biglieri Group in 2023. Check out some highlights below 👇

👩 A Year of Organizational Growth: By year’s end, we grew to a team of 23 exceptional (if we do say so ourselves) professionals who bring a breadth of experience and vision to their work.

🏆 A Year of Career Growth: Promotions, promotions, promotions! At The Biglieri Group, it’s our goal to foster an environment where team members can grow with us. Merve and Laura advanced to Intermediate Planner I, Mark advanced to Associate, and Rachelle and Mike advanced to Partner.

🤝 A Year of Impact: While we may have spent several hours (and we mean several hours) writing planning reports, the core of our business is the relationships that we have with our clients, our municipal partners, and our consultant colleagues. 2023 was a year of fruitful collaboration, bringing BIG ideas to live. We are deeply grateful for the continued trust our clients put it us.

With a strong 2023 under our belt, we are looking ahead with optimism and ambition. We are excited about the possibilities that 2024 holds and remain committed to excellence, innovation, and the values that define who we are and how we approach our work.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Hello 2024!

Relationship Building and Continuous Learning.

At TBG, we’re all about relationship building and continuous learning. Connecting with our industry and learning about trends in the planning profession ensures that we remain informed partners in building great communities across Ontario.

Here’s a snapshot of some learning and social activities that we enjoyed this season:

1. We connected with colleague planners at the OPPI Toronto District Winter Social (hosted at the CN Tower!)

2.       We were #TBGProud to celebrate @Samantha_Biglieri’s achievement as winner of OPPI’s PlanON Innovative Research Award for her work on planning dementia-inclusive communities.

3.       We enjoyed learning from @Robert_McQuillan and @Samantha_Biglieri’s research on accessibility, disability and the planning profession during Robbie’s presentation at the OPPI Conference in Ottawa.

4.       We networked with industry leaders and learned from guest speakers at the University of Waterloo’s annual School of Planning Gala.
